Our Lawyers

Bob Janssen

My name is Bob Janssen, and I’m a civil litigation attorney located in Green Bay. I concentrate my practice in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and civil litigation.

My clients are hard-working Wisconsinites whose lives have been adversely affected by an event they’d most certainly like to forget. But that isn’t always so easy to do, and it’s usually impossible to move on before proper recourse has been taken. That’s where I am able to help provide solutions.

I’m confident that when you choose me to represent your case, you’ll find my level of commitment second-to-none. I will go out of my way to right the wrong and help you secure fair and reasonable compensation. My clients are my priority, and I will operate at the highest professional level possible for you.

I have lived in the Green Bay area for many years. My wife, Lorie, and I have two boys who listen (most of the time!) and enjoy sports.

I graduated from Marquette University Law School, where I was a member of the prestigious Marquette University Law Review, and I’ve been practicing law for 29 years. I’m a member of a variety of legal clubs and organizations: the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Association of Worker’s Compensation Attorneys, the American Association for Justice, the Wisconsin Association for Justice, the Brown County Bar Association, and the Robert Parins Inns of Court.

In 2018 I was named a Wisconsin Super Lawyer, an honor and designation received by no more than five percent of attorneys in the state. I am also a member of the Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, a professional organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence. Fewer than 1 percent of the nation’s attorneys are recipients of this esteemed award.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, and playing tennis. I’m a member of the Brown County Tennis Association Board of Directors, and I am a middle school tennis coach. I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Green Bay Botanical Garden.

Katie Ver Boort

I graduated from Hamline University School of Law, where I served as Editor in Chief of the Hamline University Law Review during my last year of law school. While in law school at Hamline University, I served as a judicial extern at the Executive Office of Immigration Review in Minnesota.I live in De Pere, WI with my husband and our three children. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, reading, downhill skiing, paddle boarding, and running. I’m a member of the Site Advisory Council for Our Lady of Lourdes School, co-leader of a Brownie Scout Troop, and a parent volunteer for the GBY Swim Team.

Ryan Froelich

Ryan Froelich

My name is Ryan Froelich, and I’m a trial attorney for injured people in Northeast Wisconsin. My focus is personal injury, workers compensation and general civil litigation. Since 2006, I’ve had extensive experience in the areas of automobile accidents, slip and falls and workplace injuries.

When you or a loved one has been injured and you question how to move forward, I’m here to provide counsel, represent you and place your interests first. I will tirelessly advocate on your behalf and work to ensure that you receive fair and reasonable compensation.

I’ve successfully tried numerous cases to juries throughout Wisconsin, but have also resolved countless matters before trial by settling with the people and insurance companies involved. From 2011 – 2016, I was named a Wisconsin Super Lawyers® – Rising Star (selected by other attorneys as the top 2.5% of Wisconsin’s young lawyers). In 2018, I was named a Wisconsin Super Lawyer, an honor and designation received by no more than five percent of attorneys in the state.

Before beginning my career in Wisconsin, it was my honor to serve as a Judge Advocate General in the United States Air Force at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During my time in the military, I was also appointed Special Assistant United States Attorney. As a student at Marquette University Law School, I clerked for the Honorable Charles B. Schudson of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals (Milwaukee).

I was born and raised in Green Bay, where I attended Preble High School. As a young adult, I had the privilege of working for Don’s Shoe Service and Froelich Concrete, companies founded by my Grandfathers, Don Walczyk and Murray Froelich, Sr., respectively. My wife, Shauna, is a Lecturer at University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. Our four children proudly attend Red Smith and Wequiock Elementary Schools on the northeast side of Green Bay. Together, we enjoy summers on the bay of Green Bay and winters skiing in Northern Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It’s also my pleasure to serve as an elected Ruling Elder at Jacob’s Well Church (Howard) and assist in the planting of All Saints Church (Green Bay) (churches within the Presbyterian Church in America).
